Delegation from the Omani Al Maha Oil Company Discusses Co-operation with Emarat
A delegation from the Omani company Al Maha petroleum products and marketing visited "Emarat" at their Headquarters in Dubai, to examine the services and products provided by the Corporation as well as to discuss the prospects of co-operation in the petroleum products sector, especially in Auto lubes and their development.

The delegation which was led by Mr. Ahmed Bakhit Al Shanfari, GM, Marketing and Operation and included Ms. Muna Sultan Al Hosni, Senior Manager Marketing, met Mr. Abdulrahman Qasim Al Ali, Commercial Sales Manager at Emarat, who welcomed the delegation and asserted Emarat's commitment to strengthen co-operation with all the companies seeking to collaborate and exchange experiences with the Corporation.

The delegation then made a field trip to the Middle East Lubricants Co "Melubco" in Jebel Ali, of which Emarat is a JV partner. The team then observed various processes and controls involved in Formulating, Blending and Quality Control aspects of auto and industrial lubes, production lines, shipping and storing procedures and facilities.

Mr. Abdulrahman Qasim Al Ali informed the delegation regarding Emarat's exports of oils used for the engines of vehicles has witnessed clear progress in recent years. Emarat asserted that its lubricants now reach several countries in the GCC and the Middle East, China, the states of the former USSR and the Indian peninsula. Mr. Al Ali also said that Emarat is looking into expanding to even more foreign markets.
