Workshop on Smart Food to
Emarat Employees
Within the framework of continuous education and raising health awareness of
employees, Emarat has recently organised a lecture on smart food, diet and keeping fit which has been delivered by the famous therapeutic nutrition expert, Ms. Pooja Makhija. The workshop was entitled: "The Relationship between, Nutrition, Physiology and Office Productivity".”

The therapeutic nutrition expert clarified during the workshop her own theory which may be summarised as follows: “If you are eating smart, you can keep fit and you can also ea whatever you want” by selecting food in a smart way and focusing on healthy food including natural ingredients free of any colouring substances, additives or artificial materials and by eating lots of vegetables.

The lecture provided much advice which guarantee weight loss and keeping fit, the most important of which is to eat during the first hours of morning and eat 4 balanced meals per day and light snack each 2 hours, exercising after each snack and drinking a cup of water every hour, maintaining the natural daily rations of oil and fat and avoiding sugar in beverages such as tea or coffee as well as eating fresh fruit and avoiding juices and milk-shake.

Ms. Pooja Makhija has counseled over 10,000 clients and is one of India’s leading nutrition experts. She has spent her life’s work educating people about nutrition and helping thousands reach their goal weight. Her scientific approach puts food at the center of weight loss. Her belief is that if you eat food intelligently, you can maintain your weight and still eat whatever you want.
