Emarat Gas Distribution was established in 1999 to serve residential and industrial customers in Dubai. Today Emarat has a market share of 50% in Dubai with its partners since operations started.
In order to meet the growing consumer demand for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders in Dubai, Emarat commissioned an LPG bottling plant at its facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone with a storage capacity of 1,070 Cum and dispatches filled cylinders to residents through reputed dealers from the LPG distribution center located in Al Qusais.
Current capacity is 40 tons per shift per day. Amounts of 11 kg, 22 kg and 44 kg can be filled at an average of about 2000 cylinders in each shift. Storage tanks of 600 tons capacity have been installed, and provision has been made to store liquefied petroleum gas for bulk users, such as hotels, catering, factories and owners of residential property.
Emarat Gas Distribution incorporates state-of-the-art equipment. As a major player, safety is the prime consideration, with safety measures meeting all relevant international standards and UAE’s Civil Defense & Government Authorities Regulations. This applies to storage and filling areas, as well as loading cylinders for distribution. Other precautions include a tamper-proof, heat-shrink seal on each cylinder.
Emarat will continue to be a leading partner in shaping and ensuring implementation of these regulations.
