Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat” has successfully completed its participation at Dubai Air Show, which was held at Al Maktoum International Airport 12-16 November 2017. Emarat’s participation targets to enhance its presence and to introduce the logistic services provided by its strategic partner “Emojet” for the aviation fuelling services.
Mr. Salem Bin Suloom, Senior Manager Aviation Sales said that Emarat is keen to participate every year in the event to showcase its premium aviation services and to exhibit the latest technologies used by “Emojet” and to attract new aviation fueling consumers and multinational companies’ representatives.
“Emojet” has received numerous awards in the field of aviation refueling, which is a testament to the application of the highest standards of excellence and high quality.

Dubai - Thursday, November 2nd 2017: Emirates General Petroleum Corporation “Emarat” today Celebrated UAE flag day, marking the occasion of the president H.H. Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan assumption of Office as a UAE president on 3rd November 2004.
As part of the occasion, “Emarat” raised the UAE flag along with new UAE national anthem. The event was attended by Emarat staff members, congratulating Emarat employees on the ceremony.

Mr. Abdulla Hassan Al Noman, Senior Manager Retail Operations at Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat, honored one Supervisor and one employee, who were named "Supervisor and Star of the Year 2014" in presence of Mr. Abdulraoof Abdulaziz, Senior Manager - Shamil, and Mr. Darren Smith, Senior Manager Retail Marketing.
The Supervisor of the Year was Mr. Abdul Kareem Shaik Basha, from Al Safa Station, and the Service Station employee was Miss.Goma Sedhain, from Al Ittihad Station.
At the ceremony, Mr. Abdulla highlighted the commitment of these employees towards their jobs and responsibilities. He also praised their constant drive to excel in their services provided to the customers in a civilized manner, enhancing the corporation's reputation as one of the leading organizations in the region. Emarat Service Station Staff Attend 349 Training Sessions
Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" retail's management has always been giving priority to training programs for its front-line staff, believing that the nature of their work requires direct and constant contact with customers.
The Retail Sales Department is directly responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of its service stations and their wide range of services and facilities, including Fuel, Convenience Stores, Bakeria, Car Wash, Lube Express and other related services. The Retail Training team had organized during the last year 349 training sessions attended by many retail staff members, including new recruits. Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has honored Emirates General Petroleum Corporation 'Emarat', in recognition of the fruitful cooperation relations that have been maintained for decades between the two establishments. Such cooperation is especially evident in supplying aviation fuel through the joint venture 'Emojet', in which Emarat has partnered with ExxonMobil and run by Emarat.

Bapco is entirely owned by the government of Bahrain, and it operates in the oil industry. Its operations include oil exploration, drilling, production, refining, and distribution of petroleum products and natural gas, in addition to selling and exporting raw oil and petroleum products.
Bapco owns an oil refinery with a capacity of 250,000 bpd, in addition to storage facilities that can take up to 14 million barrel, a local products distribution center, and a dock for the exports of its products.

Emarat Honors Employees for Creating Applications to Develop Performance and Enhance Speed of Delivery at Shamil Centers
The headquarters of Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai has been adorned with beautiful decorations, colorful lighting and flags in celebration of the UAE's 43rd national day.
In addition, the Corporation's offices and service stations are now decorated with huge boards, banners and posters, embodying Emarat's participation in this glorious and precious occasion.

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation 'Emarat' raised the flag of the United Arab Emirates over its headquarters in Dubai, in response to the invitation extended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in his speech addressing the people of the UAE.
The invitation called for launching a national and popular campaign to celebrate 'Flag Day', which falls on the 3rd of November, the same day on which His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan assumed his position as President of the UAE.
HH Sheikh Mohammed asked all the federal authorities, ministries and departments to raise the flag of the country on all their buildings synchronously at 12 pm on Monday the 3th of November, as a sign of their unity and to send one message that we're not emirates we're UAE.
H.E. Adel Khalifa Al Shaer, the General Manager of Emarat, raised the flag in the attendance of many officials and employees at the Corporation.

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation ‘Emarat’ has successfully carried out, in conjunction with Dubai Civil Defense, a successful fire drill in in one of the sites in the central workshop in Al Qusais. Such experience proved the readiness and capability of the workers in the workshop to deal with such urgent accidents.
Engineer Nabeel B. Bin Butti, Senior Manager Maintenance and Services at Emarat,has declared after the medical results gained by the experience that all the workers in the central workshop have been trained specially to deal with the different urgent events in general and the fire events in special. And he added that such experience is in the course of making sure of getting benefits from that training and their ability to carry out its practical steps as periodically determined in order to improve their abilities and manipulating the incapability in any of the sides which may be noted during the practical execution.
Engineer, Nabeel, stated out that the said experience in its different stages have been carried out under the control of a supervision committee that followed up, registered and pictured all its stages. The supervision committee showed its satisfaction about the readiness of the workers and their capability to deal with such kind of accidents according to the determined procedures.
Engineer, Nabeel, thanked the officers and members of Dubai Civil Defense who participated in the success of the experience and fulfilling the aims determined for the same. Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" has signed an agreement with WFA, the world?s leader in franchise marketing.
According to this agreement, WFA will be executing an exclusive marketing program to commence marketing the franchising of Emarat's brands "Freshplus', "Bakeria" and "Cafe Arabicca".
Dr. Rahma bin Mohammed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Director, signed the agreement on behalf of Emarat, and Mr. Sary Hamway, Chief Operating Officer, signed on behalf of WFA.
In accordance with this agreement, WFA will be providing consultation to Emarat within the framework of an ambitious expansion program to achieve international and regional growth through franchising the brands.
Dr. Rahma said "We are looking to franchise our three brands regionally and internationally within the next few years, so that they will become one of the best known brands in the world of franchising. Mr. Abdulrahman Qassim Al Ali, Director Sales Manager at Emarat, welcomed Mr. Robert Holt, who was recently appointed as the new Sales Manager Commercial Aviation Fuels ExxonMobil.

Through Its Participation in Franchising Middle East Exhibition: Emarat Seeks Attracting Investors to its Brands
Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" seeks, through its participation in the Franchising Middle East 2014 Exhibition, which will be held on 21 and 22 of October 2104 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, to enhance and support its brands "Freshplus', "Bakeria', and "Cafe Arabicca" and to attract investors into franchising.
Dr. Rahma bin Mohamed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Director at Emarat, emphasized that the Corporation endeavors to choose unique products that are launched under a trademark, within its policy and continuous efforts to innovate services that distinguish it from other competitive companies. He added that Emarat always seeks to respond to its customers' needs and expectations through the provision of quality, quick and comfortable services by carefully selected staff.
Dr. Al Shamsi also said that Emarat sees the Franchising Middle East Exhibition as an opportunity to promote its brands in a way that serves the Corporation's objectives, saying that such exhibitions provide unique opportunities for Franchise owners to share experiences and good ideas, show their products and services and explore regional business development chances, in addition to enhancing their presence in the regional and local markets.
He further clarified that the main aim of Emarat's participation in this exhibition is to meet with investors that would like to start up successful and proven ventures, and to acquire franchised trademarks within set terms and conditions, the most important of which is the commitment to high criteria of integrity, in addition to the ability to work within a unified system and establishing a stable financial system, high ethical practices, and experienced managerial standards that guarantee the development of these brands.
The brands that are showed by the Corporation in Shaikh Saeed Hall 1, stand E1 at the exhibition, include " Freshplus ', which is a new chain of convenience stores considered to be a modern approach to shopping, with focus on comfort and high quality.
Also participating is "Bakeria', which is the first of its kind in the Middle East, and it is a chain that provides a wide selection of freshly prepared snacks and foods.
The third Emarat brand is "Cafe Arabicca', which complements Bakeria in the Corporation's service stations, as it offers fresh and rich coffees and drinks. Noted that Emarat, represented by its trade names 'Bakeria', 'Freshplus' and 'Cafe Arabicca', became a member of the US based International Franchise Association (IFA), which is considered the world?s oldest and largest organization representing, supporting and protecting franchising worldwide.

Emarat has organised, in cooperation with Neron Health Insurance, a successful campaign at the Corporation’s main office in Dubai for early detection of blood pressure diseases, diabetes and perfect weight.
Mr. Hussain Kazim, Manager, Corporate Communications at Emarat, paid tribute to the continuous cooperation with Neron which is supervising the health insurance of Emarat employees and its interest in conducting such campaigns which undoubtedly contribute to the ealy detection of diseases which may have serious consequences on human life, such as blood pressure, diabetes and obesity, if they are augmented.
He also said that it is important for people in general to undergo periodic examinations to check their general health condition and remedy any changes which may occur to their vital signs, such as blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol and any changes occurring to body weight.
